Founder, Artistic Director and Chief Executive Officer

Mentep Bey is the founder, artistic director and CEO of Mentep Bey. He is responsible for setting the overall direction and product strategy for the company.

Embodying the avant-garde spirit of the Culture House, Mentep continues his creative journey in an ongoing expression of his signature Christ aesthetic. As Artistic Director he has traced an inspirational path, exploring the depths of spatial movement through multi-layered intertwining lines, resulting in dynamic prints that largely rejects the ninety-degree angle in favor of highly individual, malleable compositions; while a palette of rich inspirational prose and biblical scripture lends striking verbal power to his designs.

Mentep is also the co-founder and co-CEO of the Creationberry Youth Ministry with his zawja Goodlove. They founded Creationberry in 2013 to help solve some of the challenges faced by young men growing up in urban America— from eradicating gang violence and improving low income residents’ educational opportunities, to addressing the needs of the homeless. Through collaboration, providing resources and building institutions, CYM’s mission is to help build Christ-centered communities of love and compassion.
